| With Hudson singles in almost every boathouse in North America, we are very proud to be the only U.S. Authorized Dealer for Hudson Boat Works. The care that goes into making these racing shells gives each rower the maximum quality and performance they deserve. The racing single comes in three hull shapes to accommodate all heights and weights. The Lightweight Single is for the 115-145 lb. rower; The Midweight is for the 150-175 lb. rower; the Heavyweight is for the 175-210 lb. rower. The Heavyweight + is for the 210+ rower. With the advantage of a top mounted wing rigger the rower gets less water in the boat and is able to have better power transfer during each stroke. With the wing rigger, the shell receives fewer stresses than with side mount riggers, and it is therefore more durable and will last much longer than the conventional rig. |
