The Mill Creek Shell Kit
The Mill Creek is a stable open water boat with enough capacity
to be used for extended touring. The kit is designed to
accommodate the Alden
Oarmaster II and the Piantedosi Row Wing. The Mill Creek is a multi-purpose boat that can also be
fitted for sailing or paddled as a two person kayak. It is
available as a pre-cut wood/epoxy kit. Length: 16' 6" Beam: 33" Weight: 55 lbs.
The novice woodworker can assemble the Mill Creek kit in 50 to 70
hours. Assembly requires only basic tools. As with all CLC kits,
a comprehensive, well-illustrated manual and plan set is
included; free phone and e-mail technical help are also
available.
The price of the kit is $869 (drop in rowing unit and oars not included) plus
shipping and handling
Plans alone (for experienced woodworkers) cost $69 plus shipping.
Wooden Pine Scull kits and Chesapeake Carbon oars available
