The Oarmaster III

The Oarmaster III is the ideal sculling rigging -- it's easy to transport, adjustable, and uses the rower's energy efficiently. It snaps in and out of the hull quickly, and once it's removed, the hull is light and easy to carry -- an aspect you'll appreciate every time you use your Alden.

The redesigned Oarmaster III uses the sleek, wing style rigger found on many racing shells. The wing rigger is stiff and light so no energy is wasted and the design allows the rower to row through the pin for the most efficient stroke. When you're done rowing, the wing is simple to remove from the base for easy storage or transportation.

The Oarmaster III allows you to adjust the foot stretcher length, oarlock height, and spread for rowing in different water conditions and when there is more than one user. Adjustments are quick and easy.

The Oarmaster III weighs just 18 lbs. and is built using anodized aluminum and stainless steel to resist corrosion. All parts are easily replaceable for maintenance and repair. Standard equipment includes open water, gateless oarlocks; molded seat top; extra large heel cups; ball bearing wheels; and teak foot clogs. Gated oarlocks and wooden seat tops are also available.
